“Sometimes a commission shifts theme after

work has already been done, this sin’t a problem…”

Project: Original Character (Unfinished)

For this project, I was tasked with designing an original character for a client. Early in the process, I presented initial concepts that captured the general direction we discussed. However, as we continued working together, the client’s vision began to shift, and they wanted to explore new ideas that changed the character’s look and style significantly.

While this meant revisiting some of the work I had already done, I was fully prepared for this kind of change and approached it with flexibility. I adjusted the design to incorporate the new elements the client wanted, whether that involved altering the character's appearance, personality traits, or overall vibe.

This adaptability is a key part of my workflow, as I understand that design is a collaborative process and that revisions are a natural part of bringing a client’s vision to life. Ultimately, the final character design reflected both the original ideas and the new direction, showcasing my ability to evolve and meet the client’s needs, no matter how the project shifted along the way.
