Project: Design emotes
For this project, I designed a series of custom emotes for a popular Twitch streamer, focusing on capturing their unique personality and engaging with their community. Each emote was crafted to reflect key aspects of the streamer's brand, from expressive reactions to inside jokes, ensuring they were instantly recognizable and resonated with their audience. The emotes were designed to be both fun and functional, adding personality to the streamer's interactions and creating a stronger sense of connection with viewers in chat.
Emote 01
Reserved/Shy Emote: This emote captures a sense of subtle hesitation and shyness, featuring a character with a timid expression, blushing cheeks, and eyes slightly lowered. It’s perfect for moments when the streamer or viewers feel a little unsure or reserved, adding a touch of charm and relatability to those quieter, more introspective moments.
Emote 02
Excited "Pog" Replacement Emote: This emote is a fresh take on the classic "Pog" emote, designed to convey intense excitement and hype. With a wide-eyed, open-mouthed expression, it’s perfect for moments of surprise, joy, or awe, offering a dynamic and vibrant way for the community to celebrate big, jaw-dropping moments on stream.
Emote 03
Happy & Excited Emote: Bursting with positive energy, this emote features a joyful, wide smile with sparkling eyes, capturing pure happiness and excitement. It’s the perfect way for viewers to express their excitement, whether it's for an epic moment, a fun interaction, or just general good vibes on stream.
Emote 04
Annoyed/Disappointed Emote: Designed to capture frustration or disappointment, this emote features a character with a furrowed brow, rolled eyes, and a slightly pouty expression. It’s ideal for moments when things go awry on stream—whether it’s a boring segment, a technical glitch, or something unexpected that feels out of character, giving viewers a way to react with relatable humor.
